Two Fuels, Four Configurations — What to Choose
Gas Models (GD-GP3 / GD-GP3A)
The gas models connect to a standard LPG canister or natural gas supply via a low-pressure regulator valve. Heat-up is fast — the burner reaches target temperature in 10 to 15 minutes from cold. Gas output is easy to control through the side knob, which lets you dial back heat without interrupting the bake.
The low-pressure valve design is a deliberate safety specification. It works with the standard output from consumer LPG canisters and domestic natural gas supplies, avoiding the overpressure issues that come with some high-pressure burner systems. GD-GP3 (6.8kg) is the standard version: gas burner, fixed cordierite stone base, top thermometer. Straightforward to operate and the lightest model in the range.
GD-GP3A (8.5kg) adds a motorized rotating stone. The stone turns continuously during the bake, eliminating the need to manually rotate the pizza mid-cook. In a conventional outdoor pizza oven, the rear of the chamber — closest to the flame — runs significantly hotter than the front. Without rotating, the back of the pizza can char before the front is properly cooked. Wood Pellet Models (GD-GP13 / GD-GP13A)
The pellet models use compressed wood pellets as fuel, fed through the top chimney hopper. Can the gas models run on both LPG and natural gas?
Yes. The GD-GP3 and GD-GP3A are compatible with LPG (propane/butane) and natural gas (NG). The gas supply type should be specified at order, as the regulator and burner orifice are configured to the fuel during production. Field conversion is possible but requires a jet change — contact your local gas engineer.
What wood pellets are compatible with the GD-GP13 and GD-GP13A?
Standard food-grade compressed wood pellets — the same type used in pellet grills and smokers. Hardwood pellets (oak, beech, fruit woods) are recommended for best flavor. Softwood pellets are not recommended due to higher resin content. Standard 6mm or 8mm diameter pellets are compatible.
How hot do these ovens get?

The rotating stone on the GP3A and GP13A is motorized. The stone platform turns automatically throughout the bake.
