India Single-Mode Fiber Anti-Dumping Duties Extended 5 Years, Bolstering Domestic Manufacturers’ Export Competitiveness

The Ministry of Commerce issued a notice on August 13 extending the anti-dumping duties on single-mode optical fiber imported from India for an additional five-year period, effective from August 14, 2026. The sunset review ruling maintains existing trade remedy measures aimed at preventing Indian fiber products from disrupting the domestic market through low pricing. A research report from Galaxy Securities noted that the optical fiber and cable industry has officially transitioned from a model driven primarily by traditional telecom operator infrastructure investment to a new phase led by emerging scenarios such as AI data centers. With its products primarily exported to European and American markets, Hangzhou Hi Link Electronics Co., Ltd. benefits from fair market competition in the domestic market, while its CE and UL international certifications further strengthen its pricing power and brand credibility in overseas high-end markets.
