CEM-3 (Composite Epoxy Material)
CEM-3 is a type of PCB substrate material in the composite epoxy material series. Its construction features a core of non-woven fibreglass mat sandwiched between two thin layers of woven fibreglass cloth, all impregnated with brominated epoxy resin.
Applications: LED TV/monitor backlights, LED lighting drivers, white goods control boards, telecom terminal equipment, automotive instrument panels, etc.
