How to Choose a Bakery.html Display Case<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every bakery display case in the R&M range shares the same core: a commercial refrigerated display cabinet holding the 2\u201310\u00b0C range (or 2\u20138\u00b0C for the economy series), fan cooling, and a brand compressor. The choice between series comes down to four questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Where does the case sit \u2014 on the floor, on a counter, or freestanding?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Counter-height floor cases (1,200mm):<\/strong> RMXK, RMZJ, RMQKY, RMQKZ, GD-RC. The standard display height for a bakery counter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upright floor cases (1,950mm):<\/strong> RMLG, RMLG-1. Three to four display levels; maximum display volume per square meter of floor space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Countertop cases (750mm, on a counter):<\/strong> RMTSG. For kiosks and counters that already have surface space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open or self-service:<\/strong> RMCKS, RMSMZ. Freestanding, self-service retail formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Do staff serve from behind the case or from the customer side?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rear-open (staff side):<\/strong> RMXK (curved), RMZJ (straight), RMLG (upright). The case sits against a wall; staff serve from behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Curved or straight glass?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Curved glass (RMXK, RMQKY) gives a wider viewing angle and a premium silhouette at a higher price. Straight glass (RMZJ, RMQKZ) is more economical and lines up cleanly in multi-unit installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Staff service or self-service?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Closed cases (RMXK through RMTSG) are staff-served. Open-front (RMCKS) and self-service deli (RMSMZ) formats let customers pick products directly \u2014 the standard for supermarkets, canteens, and convenience retail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refrigerated vs. Ambient Display \u2014 What the Range Covers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All R&M display cases are refrigerated, holding the 2\u201310\u00b0C range (2\u20138\u00b0C on the GD-RC economy series). This is the standard temperature band for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
